Dr. McKenna comes to us after having graduating Tufts Dental with the Evans Award for Clinical Operative Dentistry. Dr. Katie is the daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter of orthodontists in Western Massachusetts, having worked at their office growing up. While at Tufts, Dr. McKenna worked as a teaching assistant for many different courses including Clinical Anatomy, Dental Anatomy, Craniofacial Function and Fixed Prosthodontics. Before Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, she received her bachelor's degree in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.

Dr. McKenna is an avid tennis player and skier, and enjoys golf and fishing as well. She enjoys spending summers at the cape, particularly at the Sundae School, where her favorite flavor is RazOreo. She is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, and on the Young Dentists Advisory committee of EDIC. After practicing briefly in Western Massachusetts, she is excited to return to the Boston community where she enjoyed school.
